The workshop includes a series of didactic lectures focusing on the applications of dual-energy CT in Body radiology, Musculoskeletal radiology and Neuroradiology. The technical aspects of dual-energy CT acquisition and common artefacts will also be reviewed. There will be step-by-step demonstration of some clinical cases on thin-client software to further familiarise the delegates with the post-processing and workflow perspective.
Interactive MSK MRI Reading and Interpretation Workshop
The Interactive MSK MRI Reading and Interpretation workshop will expose the participants to different MRI techniques and sequences for each joint. A spectrum of cases with varying pathologies will be available to each individual participant to review at their own pace, and the analysis and interpretation of these cases will be led by an experienced musculoskeletal radiologist.
This workshop will feature didactic sessions by the leading experts in the field, a live Q+A session, followed by a “Meet the experts” small group case review. The goal of the workshop to is provide tools and tips of the trade in the expanding role of IR in pain palliation and interventional MSK oncology. . .
Transradial access provides improved patient safety and comfort compared to transfemoral access. It has been associated with a lower risk of haemorrhagic complication, a shorter recovery period with immediate ambulation, and increased patient satisfaction.
This prostate workshop aims to introduce participants to the basics of prostate MRI. Participants will be exposed to a variety of cases which will increase their confidence in the interpretation of prostate MRI.
