Interactive MSK MRI Reading
and Interpretation Workshop
This workshop will expose the participants to different MRI techniques and sequences for each joint. A spectrum of cases with varying pathologies provided to each participant, and the review and analysis of each of these cases will led by an experienced musculoskeletal radiologist.
Join the six expert abdominal radiologists as they share their tips and pearls through the wealth of cases collected over their years of practice. Senior residents, abdominal radiologists and general radiologists who have an interest in abdominal imaging will find this a fruitful and enriching learning experience.
WIRES: Spinal and Pelvic Skeletal Intervention (Hands On)
This workshop will feature case based reviews on advance MSK interventions, followed by hands-on skills session led by the leading experts in the field. The goal of the workshop to is provide tools and tips of the trade in the expanding role of IR in pain palliation and interventional MSK oncology.
Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound: Upper and Lower Limbs
The musculoskeletal ultrasound workshop aims to give participants the opportunity to learn the sonoanatomy and the ultrasound scanning technique of the musculoskeletal system through a combination of lectures, live-demonstrations and hands-on scanning of volunteers in small groups with experienced faculty members.
This prostate workshop aims to introduce participants to the basics of prostate MRI and provide updates on management of prostate cancer from a radiologist’s point of view. Participants will review a variety of cases which will increase their confidence in the interpretation of prostate MRI.
Cone beam CT has emerged as an indispensable tool for a wide range of embolization procedures because of its versatility, availability and cost-effectiveness. In this workshop, we will review the range of applications for this modality which will enable you to serve your patients better.
Dual-energy CT has recently evolved as a promising tool with multiple clinical applications such as improved lesion detection, lesion characterisation, material quantification as well as metal artefact reduction, lower radiation dose and contrast volumes. The workshop includes a series of lectures followed by a hands-on workshop conducted in small groups with experienced faculty members.
Interventional Oncology is one of the big pillars of cancer treatment and the Hybrid Angio CT has redefined the field. This year, we will showcase the use of the hybrid Angio CT in treating liver and bone diseases, as well as other indications.
Transradial access provides improved patient safety and comfort compared to transfemoral access. This workshop aims to provide didactic and practical instruction on the method of transradial access. The requisite assessment of adequate collateral circulation to the hand, choice of equipment, and patent haemostasis will be covered.
